Helping children feel seen, heard, and respected

My own pediatricians helped inspire my calling to medicine. They spoke directly to me, listened to my questions, and made me feel that my voice mattered—even as a child. That experience still shapes the physician I strive to be.

I am board certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). My combined training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics gives me a perspective on health from a child’s earliest days through adulthood. Explore my credentials.

A partnership with children and families

Pediatrics considers a child’s physical health alongside growth, development, emotional well-being, and family circumstances. I believe children deserve explanations they can understand and an active voice in conversations about their health. Parents and caregivers deserve to feel heard, too.

My approach brings together evidence-based medicine, my osteopathic training, and attention to the whole person. I value thoughtful conversations that help families understand their choices and build confidence as their children grow.

From childhood toward adulthood

Training in both specialties informs how I think about the transition from pediatric to adult care. As young people mature, learning to understand their health history, ask questions, and participate in decisions becomes an important part of that journey. Learn about Internal Medicine.

Teaching and lifelong learning

Medical education is an important part of my professional life. I enjoy helping future physicians develop clinical reasoning and communicate with children and families with clarity and compassion. My background in epidemiology and biostatistics also shapes how I interpret research and its relevance to clinical care.
